david tennant saying he doesn’t think ten ever got over rose…. which you can see in the rest of his run…. he leans so heavily on martha and finds solace in donna and he loves them both but s3-4 are ten like… seeking emotional attachments and connections everywhere he possibly can because he’s always a hairsbreadth away from either losing his humanity or succumbing to it completely, and either path would destroy him (and possibly the universe)
